We are John and Helen and we live in the beautiful coastal region of South Carolina called the Low Country. We love to create new and repurposed products for our home. Our friends and family are always asking for a copy of our creations. Through Lowcountry Smithy we are now offering these creations to all.
Our Story
Our Ancestors, Our Inspirations
Like many, we are proud of the people that compose our heritage. We all like to think that each of us inherited some talents from our family members. These carpenters, musicians, painters, mechanics and tradesmen each used their talents to provide for our families. While they just thought of their work as "making a living" we see the craftsmanship in their work.
We are honored to represent the artistry and craftsmanship of our ancestors by creating new and repurposed products that commemorate their talents.
